We work remotely on demand for our clients all over the world with a strong presence in Nordic countries and USA. We cooperate with well-established enterprises as well as with start-ups to prototype their ideas and bring them to life.

Position

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an HR and Back-office Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our processes regarding new and existing employees and supporting our company's smooth business operations.

You will be cooperating closely with our management as well as with an external accountant and lawyer at your disposal. While we are prepared to offer you limitless support, we expect you to show proactivity and take ownership of your responsibilities.

As we are continuously growing in numbers, this position offers the opportunity to play a key role in our company and room for innovations and improvements to make us more effective.

As HR & Back-office Manager you will

  • Take care of all new employees onboardings along with administrative agenda that comes with it
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all relevant HR policies and regulations
  • Coordinate employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, etc.
  • Handle payroll processing and maintain accurate records of employee compensation and benefits
  • Support our business operations by preparing and managing contracts, handling payments for our subcontractors, and preparing all required documents for accounting
  • Manage office supplies inventory and procurement, including ordering, receiving, and distributing supplies as needed
  • Lead the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Support our team with organizing various team-building activities and professional company events. (e.g. meetups)
  • Provide general support to employees on HR-related inquiries and assist in resolving any issues that may arise
  • Automate, innovate, and improve processes where it's needed

You should have

  • Previous experience in HR or administrative roles
  • People skills, especially communication
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to prioritize and follow deadlines
  • Sense of responsibility
  • Proactive approach and initiative
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations
  • On-site location in Brno (our main office)
